Explore our art exhibitions with a NUMU Art Educator, discuss the elements of art and design, and render a subject with a variety of media. Discuss potential art professions and the education, training, and experience required for this profession. All participants must come with a signed Blue Card.

Taught by Elizabeth Greer, Merit Badge Counselor. Elizabeth Greer has been working with elementary and middle school students for over 15 years. She is a long-time member and past president of the Art Docents of Los Gatos. An active maker, Elizabeth enjoys exploring the intersection of art, science and technology with students while creating projects like rockets, digital art and photography, and LED artworks in classes and workshops she teaches at NUMU and the Los Gatos Recreation Department.

*Badges are not received the day of the workshop. Badges will be distributed to Scouts at their troop's Court of Honor ceremony. To receive a badge at the Court of Honor, participants must come with their Blue Card signed by their troop leader. At the end of the workshop, the instructor will complete and return the Art Merit Badge form to the participant to return to the troop.
