Discover a new, wonderful way to make linoleum prints! Beginning printmaker or professional artist, this workshop is for you. We will explore traditional relief printing with some new, contemporary twists. Imagine easily cutting through linoleum material, the ability to cut long, flowing, organic lines, quickly cutting away large areas, easy stenciling and no tension in your wrists or fingers!
That's the beauty of Silk-Cut linoleum, imported from Australia, now available locally.

In this class we will explore

  • Wonderful, new, easy-to-carve linoleum material
  • Unusual carving techniques
  • Richly pigmented, water soluble, easy clean up inks
  • Unique printing processes

All materials are included, but if you have carving tools for wood or linoleum, and favorite brayer or two, bring them!
