A new dream.
Our mission is to engage community at the intersection of art, history and education through innovative, locally connected and globally relevant exhibits, programs and experiences.
Ethel dreamed big.
The Los Gatos Museum Association began in 1965 with the dream of resident Dr. Ethel Dana who believed Los Gatos offered everything a person could desire, except a museum! Over 50 years and several iterations later, Ethel’s big dream was realized as NUMU; a community hub where history and culture are integral to daily life.

Your generous 100% tax deductible contribution will help us keep Ethel’s dream alive while building upon the foundation on which we were imagined.

Dream like Ethel.
Donations to the Annual Fund are a 100% tax deductible, donations of $500.00 and above will receive a complimentary membership.
We are locally connected and globally relevant. We share the stories of vibrant artists and remarkable community members, and how they’ve helped to shape and influence, not just the Bay Area, but the world.

New Museum Los Gatos is the place to learn these histories, experience art and innovation, and find inspiration. Our exhibitions never get old. In fact, they’re always new.
