Join us for a creative day experiencing art in Palo Alto. We’ll start our day with a private preview of Palo Alto Art Center’s latest exhibition Grow! And learn about it from curator Marianne McGrath. Grow! explores the gardens from our memories and the green spaces that we share, to the gardens that grow us towards a better future.
At Cubberley Artists Studios, we’ll see the studio of this year’s Director’s Circle Artist, Kiana Honarmand (as exhibited at NUMU in (Un)familiar, Full Circle, and Boundaries.) Kiana will talk more about her art practice and show us more of her work. Afterwards, we’ll visit the studio of Nasim Moghadam who is currently working on a collaborative project with Kiana. We’ll finish our studio visits with upcoming exhibiting artist, Cynthia Brannvall, who is currently creating artwork inspired by NUMU’s Permanent Collection that will be displayed in Made of Memory opening October 2024.
Our last stop of the day will be the Pamela Walsh Gallery in downtown Palo Alto. Pamela will give us a tour of her latest exhibition, Entanglements, a solo show featuring Anna Sidana.
