Mexican Marzipan + Punch Workshop

Saturday, December 17  |  12-3pm  |  Free with NUMU admission

NUMU is partnering with the Consulate General of Mexico in San Jose to present a marzipan and punch workshop that is traditionally offered to the guests at the traditional Posadas that are celebrated during December in Mexico.

Chef Bio
Chef Alberto Avramow Pitman was born and raised in Mexico City; where gastronomic diversity was the perfect scenery to stimulate his curiosity and train as a cook. Mexico's cultural heritage and traditions inspired him; executing dishes based on culinary traditions and techniques which have forged his style in Mexican cuisine.
He is now working with his wife, Elizabeth Rueda, to develop his food truck COOLINARIA, a fusion of contemporary Mexican food and local produce.

The Consulate General of Mexico in San Jose is a consular representation of the Mexican Government with active functions in the counties of Santa Clara, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz.
